Apprenticeship Award

Nominations are open for the NAS Award for an Apprentice in their Final Year 2018, which celebrates apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on businesses.

Supported by CITB, the Award will see the winning apprentice receive a cash prize of £500, along with a certificate and trophy, whilst your business will gain a bursary to help you continue to further your apprentice’s skills.

If your apprentice has impressed during their time with your company, the Award is a great way to recognise their achievement as the 2017 winner, Conor McShera of Cardinals found out.

"When I found out I had won the Apprentice of the Year I was really happy and proud of my achievement. I enjoyed the whole day for the presentation and it was great to meet Robert Hudson (NAS) and Mark Noonan (CITB).
I will discuss my future training opportunities with my employer and how I can use the bursary to continue my training plan, my obvious choice will be over the next few years to work towards becoming a Site Manager and then a Project Manager"

Once again, the 2018 winner’s presentation will be made in front of the industry’s leading lights at the NAS Autumn Conference, held in London on Friday 19th October.

To enter, download your entry form and related reports (employer progress report and college progress report) and return to Robert Hudson . Entries close on Friday 21st September 2018
