A new hotel in Beijing boasts a striking interior fit-out by Cheng Chung Design.
The InterContinental Hotel’s interior combines luxury with the avant-garde, reflecting the exterior façade, which showcases glowing lattices.
Inside the hotel, accents of deep blue and spring green lift the warm greys used to furnish the lobby, enhanced by the use of gold and marble textures.
The bold lines of the façade are replicated inside, from the floor to the ceiling, creating a strong sense of unity.
Towers of seemingly delicate shelving emphasise the high ceilings and complement the structural pillars in the lobby – creating a sense of prestige which is carried through the well-lit guest rooms.
Cheng Chung Design said: ‘each detail is a story; a stylish and avant-garde space scene is created by the atmosphere of lighting, stylish furniture and exquisite artworks’.
