Shopfitting and interior contracting is a diverse, dynamic, and fast-moving industry, offering a wide variety of opportunities, careers, and clients.
Shopfitters and interior contractors are responsible for creating and completing quality spaces in the built environment. These can be for any commercial space, such as shops, restaurants, hotels, banks, and museums, where a high standard of fit-out is required.
An interior contractor can be involved with surveying and measurement, preparing designs and working drawings, manufacturing joinery and metalwork, and coordinating sub-contractors, operating as a 'one-stop-shop' for interior contracting.
