What is it?
A premier award which recognises excellence in interior design and shopfitting contracting with emphasis on the special partnership between designer/architect and contractor that shopfitting demands.

Who are the judges?
The judges represent interior designers, architects and contractors.

The panel for the 2007 Award will be under the Chairmanship of June Robson of Zebra Projects Ltd.

What will the judges be looking for?
• Suitability of the design for its location, purpose and overall budget
• Strength of partnership between interior designer/architect and shopfitter
• Choice of materials
• Creativity and originality in interpreting the design brief and overcoming site conditions
• Special design features of functional or decorative relevance
• Quality of shopfitting and project management



Who can make an entry?
• Interior designers
• Architects
• NAS members

If you do not fit into one of these sectors, please contact the NAS.

What can be entered?
Either a total fit out of a shop, office, hotel, restaurant, bank, bar or public building etc. or a clearly defined special feature of a fit out such as a dining area or reception counter of a larger overall project, or a product. Projects must have been carried out in the United Kingdom and the fit out must have been carried out by a member of the NAS.
