This course forms part of CITB Funding for CITB (England, Scotland and Wales) Levy Registered NAS Members. If you fit this criteria, please read on.

A non-refundable booking of £16 + VAT per delegate, per course, is required to secure your booking.


Full cost payable (in addition to this non-refundable £16.00 + VAT pp Booking Fee) to the NAS will be £102.50 + VAT pp (NAS Members who are registered for CITB Levy can claim £70 pp in Grant against GET Code: GET1290).


This course will be delivered by our Approved Training Provider, Kentec Training. 

IPAF Operator (3A & 3B) Course delivers a minimum of 7 hours of instruction and is designed to instruct up to a maximum ratio of 4 delegates per instructor, providing training to prepare and safely operate Mobile Vertical (Scissorlift) and Mobile Boom (Cherrypicker) in the workplace.

The IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) certification is an internationally recognised qualification for use of such machinery.

This course consists of an instructor led training room presentation, written assessment, practical training and assessment.


*50% Contribution by NAS:

  • The £25K CITB Funding awarded to the NAS will pay a percentage towards Training Provider Invoices and will not include any CITB Grant (to prevent duplicate claiming). Drawing down the grant with the relevant ‘GET’ Code falls to the NAS Member.
  • In the unlikely event of the CITB Grant exceeding the 50% NAS Member contribution a small percentage adjustment will be made.
