CITB CEO, Sarah Beale, announces resignation

It has been announced today (4 November, 2020) that Sarah Beale, Chief Executive of CITB, has given notice of her resignation.

She has served as the CITB’s first female CEO since January 2017, and has held various positions at the organisation over the past 16 years. She will continue in the position until September 2021, and the recruitment process for her replacement will begin shortly.

As the voice of the shopfitting, fit-out and interior contracting sector, the NAS is one of 14 prescribed organisations of the CITB. This means we have the opportunity to present the CITB’s levy proposals to our levy paying members, and then share their feedback on whether they support the proposals or not.

Feedback from our members is massively important to us. This is why we recently launched our own Training and Standards forum, offering our members another way of sharing their views with us.

We will also be launching our Industry Pain Points forum in January 2021, and encourage those who may be interested in joining to email us at enquiries@shopfitters.org.

In the meantime, we’d like to send our well wishes to Sarah Beale and thank her for the support the NAS has been shown during her time as CEO, particularly regarding our Apprenticeship Competition and our Centenary Conference last year.
