New SICCS Card Launch: Shopfitting Commercial Signage Installer – Provisional 

We’re pleased to announce the launch of the new SICCS Commercial Signage Installer – Provisional card, developed in partnership between the National Association of Shopfitters (NAS) and the British Sign & Graphics Association (BSGA). 

This new digital-only card is designed to help operatives working in shopfitting and commercial signage access sites safely and compliantly while progressing toward full qualification.

Eligibility: 

  • CITB Health, Safety and Environment test is required at Operative level (valid
    within three years of application) 
  • Minimum qualification required: 
  • A RQF Level 1/SCQF Level 4 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment 
  • A SCQF Level 5 REHIS Elementary Health and Safety Certificate 
  • Your card will be valid for 18 months 
  • Renewal is not possible 
  • Cost of card issue – £30 (excl. VAT) 
  • Please note: If you are not a member of the National Association of Shopfitters (NAS) or the British Sign and Graphics Association (BSGA), you will be contacted by either organisation during the card’s active period to check ongoing eligibility. This is due to the provisional nature of this card. 
  • Professional confirmation discussion with BSGA – £25 one off payment (excl. VAT)
     

This provisional card supports individuals operating in the sector, providing access to work sites while they develop their skills and complete further training.
