NAS and IOC involved in Wood Occupations review

The National Association of Shopfitters (NAS) is working with the Institute of Carpenter (IOC) to support the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) review of the Wood Occupations National Occupational Standard – or NOS for short.

A NOS sets out the skills and knowledge required to prove a basic level of competence. The Wood Occupations NOS includes both a Carpentry and Joinery and a Shopfitting pathway. So by collaborating on this work, we are helping to define competence for a wide spectrum of careers in the wood trades.

The NAS is keen to hear from any members that would like to contribute to the review.
