Full Description

This course forms part of CITB Funding for CITB (England, Scotland and Wales) Levy Registered NAS Members. If you fit this criteria, please read on.

A non-refundable booking of £16 + VAT per delegate, per course, is required to secure your booking.

Full cost payable (in addition to this non-refundable £16.00 + VAT pp Booking Fee) to the NAS will be £90.50 + VAT pp the NAS will invoice you for this, kindly pay immediately to secure your booking.
(NAS Members who are registered for CITB Levy can claim £70 pp in Grant against GET Code: GET1290).

This course will be delivered by our Approved Training Provider, HSS Training

NOTE: Wearing a suitable face mask and gloves is a mandatory requirement whilst in attendance at an HSS facility or during an onsite training event.

Delegates are required to bring:
Clothing that is comfortable and suitable to undertake practical activities, protective footwear, hi-vis vest / jacket and a hard hat.
A full body harness and a fully adjustable restraint lanyard are also required, however, the trainer can supply these for use on the course if required.

PPE can be purchased from HSS Training.

Additional Safeguarding Measures

HSS Training’s number one priority is the safety of HSS colleagues and customers. As a responsible training provider, we have introduced additional measures to stop the spread of COVID-19.  You will be asked to wear PPE appropriate for your course, which will now include Facemask and Gloves.
You may bring your own suitable PPE. Face masks and gloves are available to order online and will also be available to purchase on arrival at your training event.

The IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) certification is an internationally recognised qualification for use of such machinery.

This course consists of an instructor led training room presentation, written assessment, practical training and assessment.

 

*50% Contribution by NAS:

  • The £25K CITB Funding awarded to the NAS will pay a percentage towards Training Provider Invoices and will not include any CITB Grant (to prevent duplicate claiming). Drawing down the grant with the relevant ‘GET’ Code falls to the NAS Member.
  • In the unlikely event of the CITB Grant exceeding the 50% NAS Member contribution a small percentage adjustment will be made.
