The first NAS funded World Class Manager course has started

Ten delegates from our membership started their World Class Manager training, run by The Global Growth Institute and funded by the NAS.

The first cohort includes employees from the following companies:

The Global Growth Institute designed the World Class Manager course following their extensive research of the leadership development in over 700 organisations who regularly topped “the best company to work for” charts.

An employee’s relationship with their manager is the main reason for people to leave organisations, so the World Class Manager course has been structured around the key aspects of managing people and leadership.

The course is divided into 12 modules, through which delegates will learn about modern management techniques, goal setting, appraising, time organisation, improving communication, effective meetings, understanding customers, growing internal teams, personal and employee development, presentation skills and strategic leadership.

World Class Manager is a CPD accredited, remote learning course that takes about four months to complete. The NAS adds to the programme by bringing together a cohort of people working in the same sector, so they can share their progress and embed learning through periodic action learning sets.

If you know someone in your organisation who is starting their leadership path and would benefit from this training, you can nominate them below for the second cohort that will start later this year.
